» Galestro
Colour: straw, with light green hues.
Bouquet: delicately fruity with a suggestion of green apples.
Flavour: fry and lively.
Temperature: serve at 8°C.
Suitable with: snacks and light meals.
 
» Vernaccia di San Gimignano
Colour: pale yellow.
Bouquet: delicate, lightly flowery.
Flavour: dry, harmonious, full-bodied.
Temperature: serve at 10°C.
Suitable with: seafood, shellfish, salmon, sole and other delicately-flavoured fish, white meat.
 
» Vin Santo
Colour: clear and golden with an amber hue.
Bouquet: pronounced yet refined.
Flavour: warm, soft and full-bodied with a hint of sweetness.
Temperature: serve at 10°C.
Suitable with: fruit and desserts.
 
» Aleatico dell'Elba
Colour: full, ruby red.
Bouquet: sharp and subtle.
Flavour: warm and rich.
Temperature: serve at 10°C.
Suitable with: this sweet wine can be drunk alone or with cakes and biscuits.
 
» Chianti
Colour: bright, ruby red.
Bouquet: good grapey with a perfume of violets.
Flavour: dry, smooth and velvety.
Temperature: serve at 18°C.
Suitable with: almost all foods and meats.
 
» Chianti Riserva
(Riserva indicates a wine which has been aged at least three years.)
Colour: deep red.
Bouquet: full bodied and subtle, with a hintof violets.
Temperature: serve at 20-22°C. The bottle should be opened an hour before serving.
Suitable with: roast meats, duck game and hard, mature cheeses. The qualification Classico is applied to wines produced in the heart of the Chianti area.
 
» Vino Nobile di Montepulciano
Colour: deep garnet.
Bouquet: delicate, with a hint of violets.
Flavour: dry and flinty.
Temperature: serve at 20°C. The bottle should be opened an hour before serving.
Suitable with: roast meats, game and matured cheeses. Vino Nobile di Montepulciano must be aged two years before it can become a Riserva.
 
» Brunello di Montalcino
Colour: deep red with garnet hues.
Bouquet: intriguing and harmonious.
Flavour: soft, velvety and smooth with a strong hint of toasted almonds.
Temperature: serve at 20-22°C. The bottle should be opened an hour before serving.
Suitable with: roast red meats and game. Brunello is aged four years before selling and becomes a Riserva after being aged for five years.
