On the market for over forty years, this is a classic example of a family - operated artisan firm.

In addition to the founder, Fulvio Casamonti, his wife Corisa and three children are directly involved in the business with specific duties and responsabilities. Naturally, there is also a staff of about thirty. Originally, Casamonti were jewelry manufactures but, as the years passed, even though they never totally abandoned that field (they still make items to costumers' orders), they gradually shifted over to silverware.
Their methods combine the most modern machinery and advanced technologies with fine hand-finishing and decorative work so that each piece is a high quality original. In 1991 the company moved away from the heart of Florence to a spacious, new plant at nearby Tavarnuzze, just a short distance from the renowned Charterhouse of Galluzzo.
