Tradition of Florentine Silverware

E-mail

The Belfiore name has been closely linked to silver and jewelry for years. In fact, more than half a century has gone by since Giuseppe Belfiore, a pure Florentine, started his apprenticeship in an engraver's shop in Borgo San Jacopo just around the corner from the Palazzo Vecchio.
After a short time, he found himself in Buenos Aires where, naturally he put his experience to good use and opened a shop of his own. There he created, engraved, embossed and chased a huge variety of items in the finest Renaissance and Florentine traditions. But he was homesick for Florence. In the late 'fifties he came "home", established the Argenteria e Oreficeria Belfiore, and gradually drew his whole family into the business, from his mother Rita, to his son Victorio and finally to his daughter Monica who computerized the firm and handles its public relations.
The rich Belfiore catalogue contains over two thousand different items. Each one is crafted with the same care and skill. They are inspired by the fashions of different eras, and are highly sought after by conoisseurs of fine, authentic collectibles.
