The former is an event that's held in a village near Casole d'Elsa, known as Pievescola. This is usually during the 2nd and 3rd weekends of September. This latter is a horse race that is held each year in honour of St Isidoro. It is usually on the 2nd Sunday of July at around 6.30 p.m. The Donkey Palio on the other hand is held during the weekend closest to 8th September. Historical Pageant is an event held every 3 years on the Friday before Easter Ceremony at around 9.30 p.m. Fiera dell'Alberaia is held on the last weekend of August in Molino d'Elsa, which is a village near Pievescola, This event is one that features an exciting exhibition of agricultural equipment and different types of cattle. Though I saw a lot, I can only write a lot less but had a wow time!
