The
bronze copy of Donatello's original bronze
executed in the traditional Lost Wax Process
comes in a series of sizes, including the
original size (height 153 cm.). Donatello's David
was cast between 1430 and 1440. Cosidered to be
the first Renaissance nude, it was commissioned
by Cosimo de' Medici the Elder for the courtyard
