The
original Spinario (in marble), kept at the
Capitoline Museum, Rome, has been a much
celebrated work through the centuries, first
recorded around 1165 in Rome.
Believed by some to be a conscientious sheperd
boy, who only after delivering a message to the
Roman senate, stopped to remove a thorn from his
foot.
Our copies are available in various sizes and are
the cast in the traditional lost wax process.
Also
available: Black, Green, Brown |
